Superintendent's Message

As we enter into a new school year, I am excited about the many opportunities that lie ahead. We continue to build a strong foundation based on great teachers and staff, a supportive Board and District staff, and an engaged community. With the strong foundation that we have built over the past six years, we continue to shape our District to exemplify excellence in all we do, every day. Our overarching theme, an attitude of excellence, is exhibited daily in the endeavors of our teachers, staff, administration, and students. I know that BCS will continue to build on this excellence in the coming year!
 
As we look ahead to the 2021-2022 school year, we stay committed to preparing our students for the potential challenges they may face in their academic journey. To assist them in meeting these challenges, we depend on our excellent teaching staff to continue to raise the bar in their classrooms and build on our District's strong foundation. I am proud of our many accomplishments, in our schools and across our district, and I look forward to creating more opportunities for our students to be successful.
 
Our regional, state, and national accomplishments have been demonstrated in a short amount of time. I am also honored that Bartlett City Schools has been ranked as a Top 10 Large Business Workplaces in the Mid-South for from 2017-2020, proving that great school systems are built with great people. We should all be proud of the many accomplishments our District has achieved. With our outstanding staff, each bringing their attitude of excellence every day, we can continue to provide a great education that leads to tremendous opportunities for all our students. I am honored to be a member of Bartlett City Schools and I look forward to the many successes that this school year will bring.
