Jeff grew up in Searcy, Arkansas and graduated from the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences in Hot Springs before attending the University of Arkansas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2000 from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. He had a brief career in retail management with Abercrombie & Fitch before moving with his wife, Stephanie, to the Bartlett area from Birmingham, AL. Stephanie graduated from Bartlett High School in 1995 and had a desire to move back home before having children. Jeff and Stephanie have two children, Lily Beth and Hutch. They attend Elmore Park Middle School and Altruria Elementary School respectively.
Jeff began working in the Admission Office at Rhodes College in 2001 and has served the college in numerous capacities. He currently serves as the Director of Admission and Data Services. His work carries him across the country recruiting students from some of the best high schools in the nation. "I always take time to speak to the administrators to get a sense of what they are doing that creates the greatest impact with their students' achievement." This national perspective is one of the unique qualities that Jeff brings to the Board.
Jeff is committed to public education and believes that Bartlett is in a unique position to be the school system of choice in our area. "Through fiscal responsibility, community engagement, and parental involvement, we have the opportunity to build a school system that will be second to none in our area." He is both humbled and excited to be serving as the first Chairman.
