BCS Announces New Elementary Instructional Supervisor

Bartlett City Schools is pleased to announce that Steven Baade has been selected as the newest Elementary Instructional Supervisor beginning with the 2021-2022 school year.  

Mr. Baade has worked with teachers, students and their families at Bartlett Elementary School as an assistant principal for the past eight (8) years. Prior to that, Mr. Baade worked for legacy Shelby County Schools as an English Language Arts (ELA)/World Language Supervisor and English as a Second Language (ESL) Facilitator. He has taught all grade levels, K-12 as an ESL teacher and as a Spanish teacher. Mr. Baade has a Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Spanish Ed. K-12, a Master’s Degree from University of Memphis in English (ESL), and a Master’s Degree from Arkansas State University in Educational Leadership.

Mr. Baade states that while it is bittersweet to leave a place where you have built relationships that feel like family, he knows that opening up to new opportunities allows space to expand that family and build new relationships. He looks forward to the work ahead and strengthening partners within the Teaching & Learning Department and throughout the school district.
