Student Instructions
Go to noredink.com and log in by typing in the username, password, and class code that your teacher gave you. You should see an assignment titled Subordinating Conjunctions. There are 3 sections. The first section asks you to identify subordinating conjunctions. The second section gives you practice using subordinating conjunctions at the beginning of sentences and punctuating them correctly. The last section gives you practice using subordinating conjunctions in the middle of a sentence with correct punctuation. Your teacher can monitor your progress as you work through the sections.

Learning Opportunity Objective
Students will be able to demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. When reading and writing, explain the functions of punctuation in creating sentence variety and style, in this case through the use of subordinating conjunctions.
