Parent Instructions
Parents, Help us spread some cheer and encouraging words while maintaining social distance and safety! We encourage all family members to participate. For this weeks Family Fun Activity, we are asking students to decorate with chalk (or even other household items) around your neighborhood(if you can)/driveways/sidewalks! We would love if you could snap a picture and email to us.
 
 
Student Instructions
Attention all students! Let's spread some cheer and encouragement throughout your neighborhood and community! While practicing social distancing and parent approval, let's get outside and chalk up those sidewalks or driveways with encouraging words or pictures! Be creative and have fun! When your finished, have someone snap a picture for you and email them to Mrs. Wilkie [email protected] or Mrs. McCallister [email protected] We would love to show off your work and decorate the neighborhood!

Provide materials: paper, envelope, pencils, pens, crayons or coloring pencils, newspaper (or internet articles), camera or smartphone to take pictures
 
 
Student Instructions
Students complete the four activities listed to create a Time Capsule. Students can also add to the activities on their own, based on their grade level. Be creative!

To be aware of our time in history.

Parent Instructions
Students and parents should work together to recreate a famous piece of artwork from the Getty Museum using items you have around your house. The Getty’s collection of art can be found here: https://www.getty.edu/art/collection/ and ideas about what other people have used/to get you started can be found here: https://blogs.getty.edu/iris/getty-artworks-recreated-with-household-items-by-creative-geniuses-the-world-over/ Students should email their creations to their AE teacher, and submissions will have the chance to be featured on the EPMS social media outlets!
