Open the pdf. Have children write the complete sentences with the correct verb choice. Have children read their sentences aloud with correct verb choice (mistakes are often noted when read aloud). Take a picture of your child’s work and submit to their Seesaw account by clicking the + button.

Choose the correct verb for each of the sentences in the attached worksheet. On a sheet of notebook paper, write each of the sentences with the correct verb. Read your sentences aloud with the correct verb. Submit your completed work to your Seesaw account by clicking the + button.

The following will be helpful grammar reminders for this activity: Recall that a verb is a word that tells what something or someone is or does. Recall that a verb will add -s when the subject is singular. Ex: The girl sings in her room. Recall that a verb will not add- s when the subject is plural. Ex: The girls sing in their rooms.

Parents have the voluntary opportunity to allow their child to explore prior learning of making connections through reading a book and answering questions. Parents can choose a book from their home library or access Myon through their child's clever account and select a book from there. After the child reads the book have your child tell you what the book was about and what other book it reminded them of. Then have them explain why they think the 2 books are similar. This can be done orally or you can have them to write their answers on a piece of paper. For further practice, have your child complete the main idea activity pages where they pick the item in the bag that doesn't belong and tell why.

Log onto https://www.abcya.com/games/math_bingo Have your child click the arrow, then click go. Students can choose either add or subtract. Next they should select a level, then choose a grid size. Have your child play until they get Bingo. They may play as many times as they want starting with the easy level then working to the hard level.
