Parent Instructions
1. Click on the Youtube link to play the video "What is an Adverb?". Allow your child to watch the video while pausing to answer and discuss the questions.
2. After watching the video, have your child complete the "Using Adverbs in a Sentence" worksheet. Remind your child to write in complete sentences.
3. On a separate piece of paper, your child will create their own story using all 6 of the adverbs from the worksheet. They may illustrate their story!
4. If available, help your child take a picture or video of their story to Seesaw. They may record themselves reading the story for their teacher to hear.
