Read Chapter 14 Section 1 that discusses the economic troubles that led to the Great Depression. Students will answer the Main Idea questions in the reading columns ( A-E). They will also read the DEPRESSION INDICATORS section on page 470 and answer skill builder questions (1-2). The New Deal was FDR's key response to the Great Depression. You are to read the history.com link and view the pro/con graphic from our textbook. Write a two paragraph ( 5-7 sentences per paragraph) response. Your first paragraph should include how you think the New Deal succeeded and how it failed. The second paragraph should include your opinion on if you would have supported or opposed the New Deal and reasons to justify your opinion?
