This video will demonstrate how to locate the teacher user folder on your laptop for backup purposes.

are teachers as you begin the backup process for your teacher laptop one question that you might ask yourself is what should you backup well really you're going to want to back up the entire contents of your teacher user folder so let's talk about how to find that teacher user folder so you'll know what it is to backup if you are hard drive is showing on your desktop as mine is all you have to do is double click on your hard drive  within your hard drive your find a folder called users and you'll double quit that  and within that users folder you will see user with your email username that has a little house I that is the teacher user folder and that is what you're going to want to back up to your backup device now in some cases your hard drive may not be showing on your desktop and if it's not that's okay all you have to do is use the Go menu instead so if you don't see the Go menu in your bar across the top all you have to do is click on the desktop and that will bring your finder to the front then you can click on the Go menu drag down to the word pewter and here you will see that say Macintosh HD hard drive icon you can double click on that double click on that users and here is your teacher user and you would click Holden drag that to your backup device hope this helps thank you
