New Durham Bus Tracker App: BusZone
Our bus provider, Durham Bus Services, has a new bus tracker app for families: BusZone. New for the 2025-2026 school year, BusZone allows user-friendly bus tracking for parents, ensuring greater peace of mind and efficiency for everyone. You may view their flyer (English or Spanish) for information or follow the instructions below to download and begin using the new bus tracking app.
Steps to Setup:
1. Find your child's PowerSchool ID number. (Below is a screenshot from the desktop portal)
2. Download the BusZone App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Pictured below is the image of the BusZone app icon.
3. At the Welcome screen, enter our access code: 4096BSCMC and then login by creating a secure Username and Password for the application.
4. In the search filed, enter the route number to follow.
5. Enter the student's unique PowerSchool ID you located in Step 1.
6. You may create Alert Zones around pick-up and drop-off points. When their bus enters an Alert Zone, you receive push notifications on your phone.
