September 17, 2021 – Today Judge Lipman ruled that Governor Lee’s executive order providing a voluntary opt-out to the local county-wide mask mandate is not allowed. Pursuant to this ruling, Shelby County Health Order No. 25 is the current controlling authority related to masks for K-12 schools in Shelby County. Therefore, all students and visitors shall continue to wear a mask while at school or at any indoor BCS facility.
