Welcome to our 2020-21 Teacher of the Year banquet will this year's recognition happening at a distance it is still full of our gratitude and appreciation for all that are Bartlett City Schools teachers do to go above and beyond for our students in a year of incredible challenges each of you leaned into the work to ensure our still had access to an exceptional education please accept this video and the delivered meals as a small token of our appreciation thank you for bringing your attitude of excellent everyday hello Bartlett Middle School teacher of the year recipients I know when we went through this process last year we had no idea what this year I was going to look like but I can tell you I'm so proud of the job each and every one of you have done under really really really challenging time there's ever a year teacher of the year really means something special My Hope was that we would be able to get together that this thing would not have lasted this long but we know now that we're actually starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel I cannot thank you enough for your accomplishments and what you mean District before porting Lee what you mean do our students and how you impact their lives every day you are truly the best of the best thank you for what you do is Bartlett there is no place. fellow teachers administrators and staff I sure wish we could be together for this event I never dream last year when I was recording my speech that we would have to do this virtually again this year this is one of my favorite events of the year and I sure hate that we can't be together I don't know about y'all but this time last year a lot of us were thinking four to six weeks to flatten the curve and we'd be back to normal holy smokes were we are on covid-19 essential workers vaccine those are three terms that have dominated our lives this past year I'm so proud of you are teachers and Educators for doing what you've always done putting yourselves out there for the children you have been the epitome of Heroes throughout this pinned down congratulations to all the 2021 you exemplify The Best of the Best thank you for all you do keep setting the bar higher for the rest of us because it Bartlett City Schools there's no place I'd rather be
