MISSION STATEMENT
The Department of Exceptional Children works to support a successful transition for all students through data-driven decision planning, effective implementation of IEPs (individualized education plans), and collaboration between stakeholders.

SERVICES
Bartlett City Schools is committed to providing for the learning needs of all students. Services can be delivered directly in the general education setting, through “pull out” services, or a combination of the two. BCS provides related services of speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, and special transportation to support the educational needs of eligible students. The level of direct education and related services is based on individual student needs as determined by each child’s IEP team.

SCHOOL SUPPORT
All schools are staffed with trained teachers, paraprofessionals, a SPED clerical, a school nurse, school counselors and building administration.

DISTRICT SUPPORT
Staff includes 5 School Psychologists, a District Clerical, 10 Speech Therapists, 1 Homebound Teacher, 3 Occupational Therapists, 1 Physical Therapist, a SPED Supervisor, an Academic Consultant, a Transition Consultant, 3 Behavior Consultants and a Restorative Justice Coordinator.
