It is our hope that this will create further enjoyment of the Spanish language and culture. The suggested Youtube channels are: Dreaming Spanish, De mi Rancho a Tu Cocina and Light Speed Spanish.

Dear Parents: I hope you and your families are doing well! After collaborating with my other world language colleagues, I am recommending your children watch movies and shows in French or in English with French subtitles. While not all movies and shows can be viewed in French, many of them can. You probably own many DVD's that can be viewed in French, or in English with French subtitles. Watching movies in a second language can be a tremendous learning opportunity for your children that they will enjoy. Favorite movies or shows are great resources because your children already possesses background knowledge about these movies and shows. I am also asking students to keep a log of the new vocabulary and expressions they learn as a way to build and retain their new vocabulary. Please see also my attached document for more detailed instructions. Thank you!

Bonjour chers élèves : I trust you are all doing well and staying safe. I miss seeing your beautiful faces! I would like for you to find your favorite movies or shows that you can either watch in French, with/or without English subtitles, or watch in English with French subtitles. While not all movies and shows can be viewed in French, there are many that can. Please be sure to keep a vocabulary log of the words and expressions you learn while viewing these films. For present tense forms, they will be translated I walk, do walk and am walking. For imperfect tense the forms will be translated I was walking, I used to walk and I was getting ready to walk.
