This week, students will read articles and answer questions in the section titled "What does deception look like?" The ELA teachers can see their responses on their own computers, so students will not need to submit anything.

The articles for this week fall under the section "What Does Deception Look Like?" The articles are as follows: "The Thief and the Innkeeper" by Aesop; "The Dreamer" by Saki; "The Landlady" by Roald Dahl; and "Richard Cory" by Edward Arlington Robinson. Remember that you can highlight words to get their definitions, annotate the text, and create notes. Your teachers can see your notes, your answers to the multiple choice questions, and your written response answers. For written response questions, remember to address the question, explain your reasoning, and provide text evidence. A one-sentence answer for written response questions is not enough.
